Nestled in Keswick, just outside of Charlottesville, Castle Hill Cider features an iconic white barn that can accommodate up to 350 guests! With over 600 acres of sprawling greenery and rolling hills, this wedding venue is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding and makes for stunning portraits! Another Charlottesville wedding venue I love to recommend is Keswick Vineyards! As soon as you drive up to the property you’re transported to the Italian Countryside with all of the grapevines lining the private estate. The house on the property is truly European in style and looks like it could have been plucked off of the Mediterranean Coast. There is a fabulous pool attached to the bride and groom suite where couples can get ready before their big day. With the beautiful facade of the house and the panoramic vineyard views, there are so many photo opportunities at Keswick Vineyard you couldn’t go wrong!
Named one of the top venues in the U.S. by BRIDES Magazine, Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyard is known for its breathtaking mountain views, chic barn, and wine country beauty. In addition, their wedding staff are truly fantastic and they feature a renowned in-house culinary team that will keep your guests talking for years to come! Couples come from all over to get married at this Charlottesville wedding venue and I definitely know why! The wedding day portraits are timeless and feature an array of charm!
The Granary at Valley Pike Farm Market is a classic and sophisticated Charlottesville wedding venue that any couple would love! With such a refined interior featuring lots of bright light and neutral colors, even the rainiest of days would be bright! The Granary is in the Shenandoah Valley surrounded by mountain ranges and beautiful views. Couples choose The Granary for it’s combination of both rustic charm and modern finishes for gorgeous heirloom wedding photos!
King Family Vineyards is a family owned winery is truly the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding! Nestled into Crozet, it is full of gorgeous mountain views and some delicious wines too! The indoor reception space features high ceilings, natural light, and neutral colors which make for stunning wedding day images. It’s a combination of both rustic and high end, which is perfect for couples looking for Charlottesville charm.
Speaking of Charlottesville wedding venue charm–you need to check out Pharsalia! One the venues I am most excited to photograph is this stunning has a multitude of mountain views along with a gorgeous house and a sailcloth tent. (Haven’t seen a sailcloth tent? Google it! It can truly make a reception look classic and timeless.) Pharsalia also has its own flower farm, which makes my floral loving soul so happy!
Saving the best for last? You be the judge. This stunning European garden inspired wedding venue is truly one of the best outdoor Charlottesville wedding venues. It has a unique exterior and white greenhouse style reception space that is magazine worthy. Couples can choose from an array of spaces throughout the venue for their wedding and have a plethora of locations for wedding portraits!
