Some of my favorite weddings to shoot have been at the Biltmore wedding venue, and for good reason! This wedding venue is the perfect mix of timeless elegance and bold design that leaves you absolutely breathless. Because it’s such a popular spot for couples, I’ve decided to provide you with everything you need to know about planning a Biltmore wedding.

A castle? Yes, please!
You may not have known, but the Biltmore wedding venue surrounds the spectacular castle of George Vanderbilt. Yes, that’s right. It’s the largest home in the entire nation. And it does not disappoint. We’re talking koi-filled ponds, immaculately manicured vegetation, a private garden, a cathedral-ceilinged loft, a terrace with panoramic views, and thriving flower beds. This is American royalty at its best.
And it accommodates up to 400 guests. Of course, it does!
You’re not just booking a venue; you’re booking a team–and an experience.
A Biltmore wedding means you have access to the best of the best when it comes to wedding planning. Not only do you get access to an estate wedding team, but they also provide event staff, a culinary team, and a destination activities team (say, what?!).
Okay, but a word about the destination activities team at the Biltmore. This venue sets itself apart by offering you the option of treating your guests to carriage rides, spa services, private wine tastings, tours, and so many more activities!
Any wedding package you choose will have all the things.
All wedding packages at the Biltmore wedding venue include a selected menu, customized wedding cake, champagne toast, a four-hour open bar, and a complimentary overnight stay for the couple. In addition to all of this, they can also plan the rehearsal dinner, any showers you’re having, and even the next-day brunch.
But like, let’s talk cost
Okay, we don’t usually talk cost here. We’d much rather focus on the fun side of things! But the reality is that the Biltmore wedding cost is something we all want to know about. I mean, it must be astronomical! But from my research, it seems like the rental fee ranges from $10,000 to $25,000 for a ceremony, reception, and five hours of event time (excluding set up and clean up). It sounds like a chunk of change, but when you itemize all you get for the rental price, it’s not as crazy as you’d think!
