Precious Floral Newborn Photos | Abingdon Newborn Photographer Virginia

I truly love my job as an Abingdon Newborn Photographer! It’s always so wonderful to see my couples grow as a family and this session was no different. Jacque and Jared welcomed their adorable Louise on June 28 and I could not have been more excited for this little family!

For their newborn photos, they wanted an Abingdon newborn photographer who could come to their home and capture images of Louise’s first days in the comfort of their nursery. I was happy to oblige! We brought lots of fresh florals from a local florist and had a great time adorning this gorgeous newborn in a wreath of peonies and greenery. It was absolutely perfect that her swaddle also had lovely little pink florals on it! And, in true southern fashion, Louise had an adorable bow!

As an Abingdon newborn photographer, I always recommend that my clients choose a lifestyle newborn session. I think that taking newborn photos in the comfort of your own home is a much less stressful atmosphere than having to pack up and head out to a studio. As a parent, you’re more at ease in your house and you have access to anything you may need for the infant throughout the session. The photos are extra sentimental as well, because you’re getting a glimpse into the baby’s first days of life at home. Despite contrary beliefs, you don’t need an HGTV worthy home in order to do a beautiful lifestyle session!

Jacque is a radiant new mother and it was so precious to see the bond between mother and daughter just a week in to life! Louise is absolutely perfect and I had such a good time catching up with this sweet family their cozy home for her newborn portraits. I am always so grateful when families trust me as their Abingdon newborn photographer to capture such monumental firsts in their lives!
