Beauty Spot Engagement, Unicoi, Tennessee

The Beauty Spot in Unicoi, Tennessee is known for it’s panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and its incredible sunsets! I always find myself recommending this spot for couples if they’re wanting the mountain backdrop without the mountaintop hike. Evan & Stephanie’s Beauty Spot engagement session is definitely one of my all time favorites!

Evan and Stephanie are two super cute high school sweethearts. Although they knew it was meant to be, Evan planned an elaborate surprise proposal for his bride-to-be in New York City. They spent a whole weekend exploring the city and he popped the question on top of the Empire State Building! For their Beauty Spot engagement session we spent the evening wandering atop the mountain together and taking in the stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We spent their engagement session roaming around the top of Unaka Mountain and taking in all of the gorgeous sights during their The Beauty Spot engagement. Most of our conversation was centered around their upcoming nuptials in downtown Johnson City at The Carnegie, which I couldn’t be more excited for! They’ll be having a classic winter wedding and nothing felt more appropriate than summer engagement photos on Unaka Mountain!

The Beauty Spot Gap actually a part of the Appalachian Trail on top of Unaka Mountain. It’s frequented by both locals and those who are adventuring the Appalachian Trail. We saw so many hikers with their dogs and setting up camp during Evan & Stephanie’s Beauty Spot engagement session. It made me want to pitch a tent and see the unobstructed view of the stars at night!
