Jonesborough Wedding Venue | Cherokee Creek Farm
One of the very first and most exciting things you do as a newly engaged couple is choose the venue for your wedding! The atmosphere of the wedding venue will truly set the tone for your special day and serve as the gorgeous backdrop for your nuptials. As a photographer, I always love venues with both historic charm and modern amenities. When I found Cherokee Creek Farm in Jonesborough, Tennessee it was love at first sight!
One of the highlights of Cherokee Creek Farm is definitely the brand new Creekside Barn. It’s as if you’ve stepped in to wedding wonderland once you’ve opened the massive front doors and peeked inside. It features beautiful white washed wood walls from floor to ceiling, elegant chandeliers, and picturesque hand painted tiles that have you looking up almost the entire time you’re there!
The Creekside Barn also features both bridal and groomsmen suites, which have been hand tailored to suit your wedding day needs. The owners also made each suite with photos in mind, so every angle will look magical!
I have had the pleasure of returning to Cherokee Creek Farm time and time again. It’s truly one of my favorite Jonesborough wedding venues in East Tennessee and I always suggest it for bridal portraits and engagement sessions. The old farmhouse was built in 1870 and is full of southern charm. All of the elegant details were carefully preserved and the high ceilings is so wonderful for indoor portraits. (Not to mention it is GREAT in case of inclement weather as well!)
The adjacent farm land surrounding the historic house reminds you of something from a Jane Austen novel! With flowers blooming everywhere and fruit adorning most of the trees, it’s the perfect setting for wedding portraits. And, although there are many spots to host your ceremony, my personal favorite is in the amphitheater underneath the 200 year old pecan tree with the view of the setting sun in the background.
Cherokee Creek Farm is truly an incredible Jonesborough wedding venue to make such special memories. Take a peek at the photos below and see the charm for yourself!
