Truly Gorgeous Raleigh Newborn Photos

One of the biggest joys of my business is getting to photograph such sweet moments for my couples and provide them images they’ll cherish for a lifetime. While I do love my couples, I also love it when my couples turn into families. Capturing baby Eli’s lifestyle Raleigh newborn photos was definitely one of those special times and I am so thankful that Matthew and Sarah entrusted me with their session! 

What is a lifestyle newborn session? I get this question a lot from expecting moms. What is the difference between a studio newborn session and a lifestyle newborn session? One of the biggest differences is WHERE it takes place. Studio newborn sessions are done in a studio and often include very posed images of both the baby and family. A studio newborn session can be customized to a theme with certain colored wraps and props. 

Raleigh newborn photos can take place in the comfort of the home and are less posed, involve natural lighting, and sweet candid moments. I take images in the baby’s nursery, parent’s bedroom, living room, or anywhere else that you naturally spend your time! Lifestyle sessions are meant to capture those everyday moments with your little one. I always prefer in-home lifestyle sessions because they’re often more convenient for the new parents and much less stressful for the baby. 

Matthew, Sarah, Sawyer, and Eli were the best little family and we had fun throughout their lifestyle newborn session! We spent quite a bit of time in Eli’s precious nursery, which looked like it belonged in a Pottery Barn catalog! Matthew and Sarah created something truly magical for their newest little man. Sawyer is such a sweet big brother and dotes upon his little brother.
