Stunning Spring Roan Mountain Elopement in Johnson City, Tennessee
Logan and Matthew hadn’t originally planned on a Roan Mountain elopement but, then again, none of us had a global pandemic penciled in to our calendars either! Rather than let the coronavirus chaos get them down, this sweet couple decided to go with the flow and keep their nuptials intimate with just close family.
Interestingly enough, we had hiked to the top of Carver’s Gap on Roan Mountain just several months before for Logan & Matthew’s engagement session! Their wedding day involved much less hiking, but the views were still absolutely spectacular from the charming private estate they chose to host their Roan Mountain elopement.
I was so excited to be a part of their wedding day and witness as they committed their lives to each other. It was so special watching the two of them share heartfelt gifts just prior to the ceremony and then see Logan’s dad read the special letter she wrote just for him. Somehow it everything just fell in to place for their wedding and even the sun knew when to dissipate just long enough for the ceremony to take place!
Immediately after Logan and Matthew tied the knot it was a joyous celebration with family! They jumped in to the sweet, little reception they had waiting for them and enjoyed some of the best BBQ East Tennessee has to offer! One of my favorite moments of the day was watching the two of them navigate the cake cutting together.
I am SO excited that we get to do all of this over again in August for all of their friends and family! In the meantime, make sure to take a peek at some of my favorite images from their Roan Mountain elopement below!
