There’s a quiet little park just behind Steele Creek Park in Bristol that is truly a hidden gem for portrait sessions. Nestled in between trees and a lake, Rooster Front Park makes the best spot for family and maternity photos! There are an abundance of picturesque alcoves in the woods and a scenic water overlook just beside the hiking trail. The location isn’t difficult to get to, which is perfect for families with small children or mamas-to-be!

When Brandon & Cati reached out about getting some maternity photos done in Bristol, Rooster Front Park was one of the very first places I suggested! This mama was quickly nearing her due date when we scheduled the photo session, so I definitely wanted something that was easy for her to do! Cati absolutely rocked the deep burgundy dress she wore and make it look effortlessly elegant as we made our hike through the park. Her sweet boys doted on her the entire time and made the session a lively time! The brother-to-be was having a blast exploring the wilderness and roughing it up throughout the park.

These two parents are adding another baby boy to the crew and I cannot wait to meet the bundle of joy when he arrives in just a few weeks! I truly love getting to capture such sweet photos for families–it’s definitely one of my favorite parts of being a photographer! It’s so special to see these parents-to-be adapting to life before the baby and how in love they are after he arrives.
