Seabrook Island Wedding Photographer

I love any excuse to make the drive down to the breathtaking Seabrook Island–especially when it’s for photography! Michaela and Phil are Charleston locals and when they suggested the beautiful beach for their Seabrook Island engagement session I was only too happy to oblige!

Even in the late fall Seabrook Island is truly full of magic and golden light. You would never know that these Seabrook Island engagement photos were taken during the last legs of Autumn! We explored the picturesque boardwalk by the community center before making our way down to the beach for sunset. It was so fun getting to know these two and listening to their easy banter throughout the session! I also loved that my road trip companion, Marissa from Two Peak Studios, was able to tag along and create a beautiful video rendition of their session too!

We decided to explore Seabrook Island in its entirety, even though Charleston has magic of its own, Seabrook is like a hidden oasis only a few miles away. Formerly known as Simmons Island, Seabrook is an exquisitely beautiful, private gated community, that is a barrier island in Charleston County. If you’re a history buff, you will love to look more into this island! They consider Seabrook Island one of the best kept secrets on the East Coast, so yes, it was an absolute dream for an engagement session!
