5 Ways To Put Personality In Branding Photos

How to put personality in your branding photos!

Today’s blog was so fun to put together! I get so many questions about using branding photos to connect with your audience and grow your business, so today I’m sharing five ways to showcase your personality in branding photos! Read on for the tips!

DEFINE YOUR BRAND

Gaining clarity and confidence in your brand will always be my top tip for any personal branding educational blog! Before you can showcase your personality, you need to define it! Are you easygoing and laid back? Are you outgoing and fun? Helpful, quirky, sarcastic, spiritual, adventurous, etc.? Take some time to write down your business personality traits and what your ideal client will relate to and you’re off to a good start!

SHOW BEHIND THE SCENES

These are my favorite type of branding photos! Show what your business looks like behind the scenes! How do you get your work done? What would be interesting to share with your audience? Use your caption to draw your audience in, giving insight into your day-to-day tasks.

SHOW YOUR HOBBIES

Personal Branding Photography is all about showing who you are as a brand and what makes your business YOURS, and hobbies can really draw in your audience! What do you do when you’re not hustling hard for your small business? The photo and caption opportunities are endless!

CHOOSE A LOCATION THAT REPRESENTS YOU

Be creative! Where do you get your best work done or just go to relax? Here are some examples from previous boss babes: in an office, on the couch, in a coffee shop, shopping for supplies, by the water, etc.!

USE PROPS

Props are one of the best ways to show off your personality! They can be as simple as the tools of your trade (laptop, camera, phone) or fun personal items that you love having in your life! I geeked out over Sydney’s fun props from her branding session! They all represent her passion for photography and desire to help her clients!

hi, i'm danielle—

In the past 10+ years as a Wedding & Portrait Photographer, I’ve found that, aside from arming myself with my cameras to catch swoon-worthy moments of my couples on their day, I’m also bringing a few other unexpected things.

Like my tough love mom-voice that will keep your bridal party in check, my air of calm if you’re feeling overwhelmed, and the corniest jokes so no one has the jitters in front of the camera!

Because so much more goes into getting those gorgeous wedding photos than just hitting “click!”

and I'm not just bringing my camera to your big day.

Wanna know what you need for
detail photos?

unforgettable

In the hundreds of weddings I’ve photographed, I’ve created as many different flat lays as you can imagine. And so I’ve curated a complete list of must-have items for you to gather so your detail photos are even more special. For the free list, enter your email below:
