Joyful Spring Manassas Engagement Photos in Virginia

It’s not everyday that you get to photograph a Manassas engagement session during peak cherry blossom season, so we took full advantage for Natalie & Sean’s photos! I traveled to the heart of Virginia to see the place this fun couple calls home and take a tour of the historic city. We weren’t technically a part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, but you wouldn’t have known otherwise in this Downtown Manassas engagement session!

These two met about five years ago while Natalie was in school at Radford and made the long distance relationship work for 3½ years before she graduated! They talked about how they would get all dressed up for date night and eat at an extremely fancy restaurant, but then finish the night by hitting up Dave & Busters! I truly enjoyed listening to them talk about how excited they are to have their own space together and their smiles were infectious as they expressed how excited they are for their wedding!

We kicked off their Manassas engagement session at Natalie’s childhood home where the couple spends so much of their time. I can definitely see why with the gorgeous landscaping and tree lined driveway! Before we headed downtown, I was introduced to a very important member of the family–their German Shepard, Diesel!

After an outfit change, we made our way to Downtown Manassas for a few more photos. Natalie & Sean pointed out a few of their favorite restaurants throughout the journey and we stopped in front of the iconic LOVE sign so they could share a quick kiss-and-dip! The two completed the evening under some romantic string lights and I’m still swooning thinking about how lovely it all was!

I can’t wait for their wedding later this year, but in the meantime enjoy a few of my favorites from their Manassas engagement session!
