Breathtaking Maternity Photos at The Beauty Spot in Unicoi, Tennessee

I’m always so excited to follow my couples along on their journeys and getting to capture their sweet moments is an added bonus! When Andrew and Tara announced they were pregnant we immediately started brainstorming beautiful locations for their maternity session. After much deliberation, they chose to do their maternity photos at The Beauty Spot in Erwin, Tennessee!

One of my favorite things about The Beauty Spot is, first and foremost, the stunning panoramic views of that Appalachian Mountains. No matter which angle you decide to take a photo–you just can’t go wrong! Another big bonus is the fact that The Beauty Spot is very mama-to-be friendly and doesn’t require a hike to get to the top! You can basically drive right to the most scenic spots without much effort.

It was also such a memorable spot for the couple because they had photos of Andrew’s parents at The Beauty Spot from years before! So it was only appropriate that we capture some of their sweetest moments up in the same spot for them to cherish for years to come. We weren’t quite sure if the weather would hold up, but luckily we had a spectacular evening with dreamy views of those Blue Ridge Mountains in the background!

Andrew is a doting dad-to-be and showered Tara with such affection throughout our time together. He’s going to make a great dad! It’s hard not to adore Tara thought! She has this big personality and infectious smile that draws everyone to her. I cannot wait to see her become a mama and take on motherhood with the compassion and grace that she shows every day!
