There are people that you meet and instantaneously feel like you’ve known them your entire life. Ashley is definitely one of those people! When this lovely lady reached out about their wedding at the Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, Tennessee I just knew we were going to be a perfect fit. She described her desire for wedding photos that were classic, true-to-life, and timeless–that’s pretty much my mantra! We spent an entire meeting discussing wedding details and iconic photos like we’d known each other for years!
The day of Ashley’s bridal portraits at the Whitestone Country Inn, it was a beautiful day with such lush fall foliage in full view. The venue is nestled in a little nook overlooking the river and features panoramic views from every building. There is a wrap around porch that encircles the main house and reception space that is incredible for portraits! Whitestone Country Inn is a full functional bed and breakfast, which was perfect for Ashley & Brandon’s wedding because everyone was traveling in from out of town!
For her bridal session we took photos both at the Lion and The Lamb as well as the Farmhouse. Ashley wanted those iconic bridal portraits on the wrap around porch and I was excited to capture the expansive view from the Farmhouse lawn! She was absolutely radiant throughout the whole bridal portrait session and gushed about Brandon the entire time. It was so sweet to hear how they were best friends above all else and complemented each other so well. I always love how stunning a bride looks as she’s smiling ear-to-ear with happiness and that was definitely Ashley as she talked about her husband-to-be!
As we walked around the Whitestone Country Inn, I had the privilege for meeting Ashley’s sweet mom. It’s traditional to bring someone with you to a bridal portrait session, but Ashley and her mother are definitely so close to each other. I truly enjoyed getting to know them both and hear their excitement for her big day! I also loved the sentimental wedding details Ashley featured! Her veil was actually her mother’s from the 1980s!
I cannot wait to share all of their wedding images with you all, but in the meantime you need to check out a few of my favorites from Ashley’s bridal portrait session at the Whitestone Country Inn!
