Asheville Newborn Photographer
One of my favorite things about my job is getting to watch my sweet couples grow into families as time goes by. It’s absolutely the case for Brandon and Cati as they welcomed their precious Beckham Grey into the family a month ago! I had so much fun with this family for Cati’s maternity photos and was so excited to reunited to meet their handsome baby boy for their lifestyle Asheville newborn session.
I absolutely LOVE in-home sessions so much! I love them because they allow me to photography your newest addition in the comfort of your own home. There is something so wonderfully authentic about capturing the first weeks of your little one’s life in the nursery, on the couch, or in the bedroom where you spend most of your time as new parents. Lifestyle Asheville newborn sessions are so much less work on the parents as well–no traveling, no packing, no stress. I love being able to document the newborn sweetest in the familiarity of your own home.
It definitely makes my job fun when the home is as chic as Brandon & Cati’s! They have such great light in every room of their house and have styled it quite similarly to the pages of a Pottery Barn catalog! Each room was thoughtfully decorated and even Beckham’s nursery was trendy! We took photos of the entire family of four in the master bedroom, nursery, and in their lovely living room.
I always love the lifestyle nature of these newborn sessions: super heavy on the candids moments and focusing on just capturing your new life at home with your newest family member! I try my best to photograph lots and lots of candid photos to really captures some genuine smiles and emotions with the little one. With Brandon, Cati, and their two boys–it was so easy to photograph such sweet moments!
