Romantic Fall Anniversary Photos at Sugar Hollow Park
One of my favorite places to shoot in Bristol, Virginia is at Sugar Hollow Park. It’s over 400 acres of diverse terrain and it makes for absolutely stunning photos! When Kristen & Levi reached out about getting some updated photos for their holiday cards–it was one the first places I recommended!
We immediately made our way up to the forrest area, which has the iconic lines of pine trees as far as the eye can see. The photos we took at golden hour were truly magical as the sunset reflected in the background! It was so fun to get to know them both and meet their sweet doggie. They adopted her just about a year ago and it’s so fun to see how well she’s bonded with them!
We wrapped up our session at Sugar Hollow Park on the walkway above the dam. The grassy trail has unhindered views for miles each way and is excellent for capturing photos with unencumbered horizon. Kristen was the epitome of a bohemian goddess in her deep magenta maxi dress that just blended in with the twilight sky. Levi looked great as well in a flannel button down that brought the rustic holiday vibe to their photos!
