Adorable South Holston Lake Maternity Photos in East Tennessee

After many, many years in East Tennessee, I can officially say that I have taken South Holston Lake maternity photos! Not only did I get to visit, but I was lucky enough to photograph the beautiful Jacque for her maternity session there! If you all haven’t met Jacque, you can make yourself an appointment at her fabulous Salon J. Christene in Bristol. (She is an absolute magician when it comes to hair, but I digress!) Jacque and her fiancé, Jared, are so excited to be expecting their first little bundle of joy in June!

For their South Holston Lake maternity photos we explored several different spots, including the lookout from the top of South Holston Dam. The views are truly breathtaking and just about panoramic whenever you get to the visitors center at the top. The South Holston Dam is a great spot for family photos because you can practically drive to every scenic spot in the area. This makes a perfect location for maternity photos!

The best (and most unexpected) part of the entire South Holston Lake maternity photos? The super romantic rain storm that came upon us at their end of their maternity session! We hadn’t quite made it back to the cars and these lovebirds decided to pull out the romantic kisses worthy of The Notebook! I think they’re honestly some of my favorite maternity photos ever taken!
