Sunset Roan Mountain Engagement Photos in Johnson City, Tennesseee
If you asked Logan and Matthew one word that describes them as a couple, they both instantaneously reply. “Fun!” I can now honestly attest to that being one of the first words that comes to mind when I think of the two of them! We truly had such a good time hiking to the top of the Round Bald for their Roan Mountain engagement session!
One of my favorite things about Roan Mountain engagement sessions is the ability to connect with my couples before the wedding day. (Not to mention it’s also a great idea to get the feel for posing prior to your nuptials as well!) I loved listening to Logan and Matthew talk about their plans for the wedding day.
These lovebirds met in college a few years ago after signing up for a fitness competition together as friends. What started out as a few weeks of keeping each other company during long workouts turned into keeping each other company for the rest of their lives!
Roan Mountain Engagement Session
After getting engaged in the romantic and whimsical city of Charleston just ONE month ago, they decided they wanted to keep the momentum going by getting their Roan Mountain engagement photos taken! Situated in the Appalachian Mountains, the stunning Round Bald on Roan Mountain has panoramic views on a clear day. It’s also fitting that this energetic pair are regular CrossFit participants, because it was definitely a trek up to the top!
Once we made it to the top of the Roan Mountain, we were not disappointed! There were gorgeous panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and East Tennessee sunset was truly to stunning. Logan was a total knockout in the navy blue lace dress she wore and we definitely had a ton of fun with the iconic Dirty Dancing lift as the sun was going down!
If you’re looking for all things Roan Mountain, you should definitely pop over to Logan & Matthew’s Roan Mountain Elopement for more photos!
