Dreamy Winter Carnegie Hotel Wedding in Johnson City, Tennessee

The morning of December 17th was quite warmer than I had expected it to be for a winter wedding, but it was a pleasant surprise as I walked up to the Carnegie Hotel! Evan and Stephanie could not have picked a better day for their winter Carnegie Hotel wedding.

I always love Carnegie Hotel weddings. They have this timeless feel to them, which is because of the glamorous hotel vibes. A golden elevator, luxurious furniture, and fully uniformed hotel staff make this feel like a swanky New York City hotel located in Johnson City, Tennessee!

Evan and Stephanie are truly the cutest of high school sweethearts. They met and spent their last year of high school falling in love and have managed to continue falling ever since. It was so evident at their Beauty Spot engagement session! He swept her away on a spontaneous getaway to New York City and proposed in view of the iconic Empire State Building. It was no surprise with such a romantic history that they had one of the loveliest weddings we’ve ever attended!

Like most weddings, the entire morning went by in a blur (for me and for them I believe!). The bride and her stunning entourage dressed at the classic Carnegie Hotel and I had a blast capturing images of her gorgeous wedding details! Stephanie had a vintage blue suitcase she wanted to use as the backdrop for her details that was a family heirloom. Some of my favorite bridal portraits from her big day were taken in the suite of the Carnegie hotel wedding, where she got ready. where we took the majority of the outdoor portraits. They said their vows at Munsey Methodist Church in the heart of downtown Johnson City and we walked to the Venue at King Centre before finishing up the night!
