A Venue With Historic Charm
If you’ve been looking for a Virginia Beach wedding venue for your big day, you aren’t going to want to overlook a Princess Anne Country Club wedding. This exclusive venue practically across the street from the Virginia Beach coastline is the perfect spot for your upscale soirée!
Established in 1916, the Princess Anne began as a small social Club founded by a group of Norfolk businessmen looking for coastal retreat in the wild. Although it is still a retreat, the Princess Anne Country Club has grown in size and elegance over the years.
The most notable amenity? The Princess Anne Country Club has an incredible golf course that winds through stands of pines and oaks right off of the beach. You’ll be able to make your way off the sands of the ocean and (hopefully!) around the sands of the golf course all in one afternoon!
The stylish yet understated feel of this venue is remarkably similar to the one that its founders strove to create there over 100 years ago.
Amenities, Amenities, Amenities
With the recent trend of heightened guest experience at weddings nowadays, you’ll be hard pressed to find a Virginia Beach wedding venue with more amenities than the Princess Anne!
In addition to the incredible golf course available, you’ll also find that there is a fantastic pool, incredible gym, and plethora of tennis courts on site! Plus, who wouldn’t want to hang out in the swanky gentlemen club area or recently renovated ladies lounge?
Top Notch Cuisine
When it comes to fine dining, a Princess Anne Country Club wedding has your big day covered! There are six separate dining spaces at the club and the menu is out of this world. If you choose to have a ballroom reception for your Princess Anne Country Club wedding, you’ll have space for up to four hundred guests and a delicious dinner provided in-house! The creative chefs always use the finest and freshest ingredients to prepare signature dishes for each event.
Added bonus? You’ll have the best pre-wedding lunches and snacks around! (Seriously, it’s a whole spread!)
Reception Space Worth Talking About
Your Princess Anne Country Club wedding can be hosted in one of the elegant indoor ballrooms or you can opt for an outdoor clear tent! The wedding below, featured on Style Me Pretty, was the first wedding on site to use the dreamy clear tent on the lawn and I am obsessed!
The two of you and all of your guests can party the night away under the stars (rain or shine!) with the best outdoor views of the golf course. It is close enough to the club that you won’t have to worry about transportation, outdoor restroom accommodations, or getting dinner to your guests either!
Endless Portrait Options
One of my favorite parts of a Princess Anne Country Club wedding? The endless photo opportunities! (Obviously!)
You’ll have access to the entire building for your wedding portraits and we can travel the 18 hole golf course for all the hidden gems as well. From photos on the green to elegant images taken around the venue, we’ll have plenty of spots to capture iconic images for your wedding day.
If you’re still on the lookout for a photographer to capture your Princess Anne Country Club wedding day, get in touch! As a longtime Virginia Wedding Photographer, I know all of the best spots around the venue and would be happy to show you around!
