Raleigh Family Photos

I love any excuse to head to Raleigh, North Carolina but getting to catch up with this sweet family is at the top of my list! Courtney & Cody invited me out to their brand new home in Downtown Raleigh to capture some Raleigh family photos and I couldn’t have been happier for them! They welcomed their newest addition, Dean, just a couple months ago and being a part of his very first photo debut was so special.

Lifestyle family sessions are always a favorite of mine because it’s so wonderful to capture images that are true to daily life. I love getting to photograph the special moments in a place that’s sacred to you and your family. It makes looking back on the photographs years from now that much more special because they were taken in a setting that will always mean something.

In-home lifestyle family sessions are always a bit easier on clients too! It’s so convenient to take photos in a place you know and are comfortable with. There isn’t a hassle of driving somewhere, forgetting something, or the stress of running out of outfits after the little one has had a massive blowout in the carseat. (No, that’s not a personal experience or anything. Not at all!)

This sweet family is adapting to life as a family of four so well. Charlie is the best big sister and it was so precious watching her dote on her baby brother. Courtney and Cody have a stunning home to take Raleigh family photos in, which made everything so fun too! With big windows, lots of natural light, and neutral colors–I was in heaven!
