Fall Family Photos in Bristol, Virginia

There’s something so special about photos that are taken in places close to the heart. Whether it’s inside your house, at the spot where you got engaged, or even the venue where you tied the knot–sentimental is always best for family photos. That definitely holds true for these beautiful fall family photos of the Poe’s Bristol, Virginia.

I think what makes the session even more endearing is the fact that it was gifted by Krista’s sister-in-law, because she knew that they’d never had any professional family photos taken before. It was such a special gift for this sweet family and it makes my job so fulfilling to feel the excitement for the session.

Brad & Krista are high school sweethearts and have raised their two boys in the heart of Bristol, Virginia. They cherish their dogs and the entire family loves to be outside. We took their fall family photos just outside of their home at a farm that has been family owned and farmed for generations. The boys loved getting to see the cows wander so close to us throughout the session and we even made our way down to the pond for a stone throwing competition.

I always love any excuse to take fall family photos, especially when the family is as sweet as this one!
